Chef Mark Blue Jackets Game
Last Spring, a group of brothers from Ohio Nu made the trip from Athens to Columbus to celebrate Chef Mark’s birthday with a night at the Columbus Blue Jackets game. The trip was part of a Christmas gift we had put together for him earlier in the year, and it turned out to be a great time for everyone involved.
Before the game, we stopped at a local bar near Ohio State’s campus to kick off the evening. It was a good chance for the guys to relax, hang out, and enjoy some time together outside of Athens. We then made our way to Nationwide Arena where the Blue Jackets took on the Colorado Avalanche.
One of the highlights of the night came when our group made it onto the Jumbotron during the game—something that had everyone fired up. It added to the energy of the night and made the experience even more memorable.
While it wasn’t a huge event, it was the kind of night that brings the chapter closer together. A few hours away from campus, good laughs, and a shared memory that we’ll definitely be talking about for a while.
Trips like this are a reminder that it doesn’t take much to create something meaningful. It’s the people you’re with and the moments you share that make the difference—and this was one of those times.
